I've ordered something homely and filthy and posted it to your address. Thanks again for being a dumping-spot for UK-ship only. Now I just need to find other things I clearly need like Cortina rear lamps.

Well, he agreed to hold those for me. Haven't really planned shipping out as yet, I may pick them up in person if jaunting to the UK. Can't say necessarily he'll give you that offer, but you can certainly ask. That being said,
...indeed.

My Rover V8 (4.2) has valve covers that look like this. Squarish, a long neck, seam lines, and a big open square stamp plate thingy. Generally, they look like anus. What I just got, when cleaned up, looks like this:
Slight difference, I think you'd agree. They're from the early 3.5 Range Rover engine, and almost none are in the US, unlike Merry Old. The other option for a vintage look is ones from Offenhauser:
Nice, but kind of overdone, non-descriptive of content, and mad expensive. Also ROVER ENGIAN IS NOT CHEBBIES.

I love the ones in the middle. Nice, understated. And no one(with ¾ of a brain) will say "So, is that a SBC man?"

No worries :) Cortina lamps are pretty much the best tail-lights ever made. I wonder what they're like size-wise on a Ranchero. If they look a bit lost you could do a double or triple set, finances permitting.

This is the first time doing it, but if there's anything you need that's not a problem :)
If it's got keys and drives that would be best ;)

I don't have the cash for that, but I'd love an old Mini or MGB or something.

Likewise with a Corvair :)
